CTO EXPO 2023: impressive premiere of the year. Expansion course.

May 23 - 26, the premiere of International Trade Fair for Spare Parts, Automotive Aftersales Market and Service CTO Expo was vividly and impressively presented at the Crocus Expo as part of the large-scale synergy of the year.

Being an significant link in the composition of two more industry projects: leading Trade Fair for Construction Equipment and Technologies CTT Expo, International Trade Fair for Commercial Vehicles and Technologies COMvex, CTO Expo presented 234 companies from 7 countries: Russia, Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, Kazakhstan, China, South Korea. The market leaders demonstrated a full line of auto parts, components, accessories, consumables, as well as equipment for the service of construction machinery, commercial vehicles and passenger cars.

Ruslan Nikulin, director of the manufacturer of motor oils Forsage oil noted: "Two days of the exhibition gave us 270 negotiations and 140 potential customers. Two contracts with service stations from Moscow and Azerbaijan are already at the signing stage."

Yulia Kurochkina, Marketing Director of FENOX, the largest manufacturer of import-substituting parts and automotive components for cars and trucks, shared plans for further expansion of the product range: "We are getting to know a new market, the market is getting to know us. We were attracted by a completely new format of the event, where the opportunities for company implementation are simply impressive. What volumes, scales, strong participants".

Dmitry Frolov, Marketing Director of BKT, appreciated: "There are a lot of new ideas, a lot of new partners. It's worth noticing that not only manufacturers of automotive components, but also other related industries come to our stand."

Oleg Maksimov, CEO of the Magistral-NN Group of companies said that the company is absorbed in the development of its own brands and presents five brands of auto parts and oils at the CTO Expo: "We are impressed by the scales and number of new contacts."

The head of the AVS company, Andrey Sivakozov, shared an impressive flow of new customers and an important decision to expand the product line in order to enter parallel sales channels.

The co-organiser of the CTO Expo 2023 exhibition was the GROUPAUTO Russia, which brought together leading Russian distributors of spare parts, materials and services for after-sales service. Some of the brands presented their products at the exhibition for the first time: HELLA, MAHLE RUS, Airline, JULIA, JP group, VALEO, ReinWELL, SPEEDMATE, HL Mando, FEBEST, NSP, LYNXgroup, BARDAHL, CTM GANZ, Standard Springs, ORIS, ARNEZI, PARTRA.

Visitors of the exhibition

The number of visitors to the CTO Expo exceeded all expectations of the organisers – 28,219 professionals, which is 42% of the total number of synergy visitors. 25,388 professionals - business owners, management staff and decision makers. 13,635 visitors are engaged in wholesale and retail trade, the segment of car service and repair of passenger cars, trucks and special equipment is 11,127 visitors.

AUTO-EURO (representative offices in 36 cities), Automag (Moscow), Glushiteli 39 (Kaliningrad), Koleso.ru (Moscow region), Filter (Irkutsk), Korona Auto (St. Petersburg), Maslenych (Dzerzhinsk), Mir Instrumenta (more than 60 sales offices in Russia), AUTOROOM (Orel), Arkon Service station (Armavir), Shesterenka (Nizhny Novgorod), DetParts (Moscow, Saint Petersburg), Express Shina (Yekaterinburg), Fit Service (148 cities of Russia), Zazap24.ru (Smolensk) and many others are on the list of visitors to CTO Expo.

It's worth mentioning that one exhibitor company of the CTO Expo exhibition had an average of 120 visitors.

Industry Talks – lively discussions, exchange of experience and the most constructive cases

The Industry Talks platform brought together an expert community in the auto parts and after-sales service market. All four days, the most popular topics were heard non-stop: from economic outlooks of the auto parts market and the secrets of increasing the conversion of the car service marketing funnel to the details of effective training of service station professionals.

Opinion leaders from the NAPAK Association, the Automotive cluster "Avtoprom North-West", RASTO, ROAD, GROUPAUTO Russia, the professional community "Automarketolog", Autostat-Info, "The right car business" and Club of leaders of car services "SMART" shared their competencies.

Just during the active work of the exhibition and business platform, Association RASTO and Sigma Expo Group signed a cooperation agreement for the next year, which, of course, will serve as an additional impact in strengthening and developing relations and joint projects.

The CTO Expo business platform was so demanded by the professional audience that discussions were held even around the business platform itself. For example, a representative of the company Jaky, a designer of websites for car services, shared his opinion that it was participation in business program that helped to determine professional trends of the market in order to create just an immaculate product.

During the whole four days of the CTO Expo, the first stage of the "World Automotive Components - 2023" award was voted among the professional audience, organised by the partner of the exhibition - the "Automotive Components" magazine. 4,960 professionals from different regions of Russia and the near abroad countries were interviewed. The awarding ceremony took place on May 26 on the stage in front of the entrance to Hall 13. The winners of the first stage were announced on the website of the magazine "Automotive Components".

More than 600 specialists attended the events of the Industry Talks business program.

On May 25, the Rose-bar restaurant hosted the 10th auto quiz Aftermarket battle, where the CTO Expo was the general sponsor. Among the participants were such companies as MK.Kashiyama, CORP, JAPAN, AZUMI, Trek ZAO, Alleya Group, AvirAuto, AVTO-CHIMICHESKAYA COMPANIYA (Eurolube), Magistral-NN, GROUPAUTO Russia and many others.

Business program

CTO Expo became an important premiere of the year as part of a large-scope event synergy on the area of 100,912 m2 – the largest in Russia and Eastern Europe.

The results of surveys of exhibitors and visitors of all three trade fairs confirmed the concept to be valid also in 2024.

"We are all in the same market and the same field. The synergy effect is extremely useful, helps to identify needs more deeply, as well as establish a new constructive business communication. Here you can resolve everything and find everyone. 9.9 out of 10. And only a little rain prevented me from giving it a score of 10" – quoting one of the visitors of the CTO exhibition.

At the moment, the number of applications submitted for exhibitions exceeds the exhibition area of this year. CTO Expo in 2024 will be located in Hall 13 of Pavilion No. 3. The exposition of CTO Expo, CTT Expo and COMvex is formed taking into account the significant expansion of the stands area and additional pavilion No.2. The outdoor area has been increased by additional sectors and is already fully booked.
